Hi buddy,

Thanks for coming back…

I hope you have a great time here reading my blog posts. :-)

As for today’s sharing, it will be focusing on the infertility insurance that might be bothering lots of affected people.

It is crucial to state clearly the infertility insurance being provided by the insurance company at the time you draw the contract.

Don’t be shy to ask your boss.

Be certain to ask your boss for a copy of the medical insurance (as compare to a summary that some employers provide), and check all the necessary terms and conditions.

Which insurance company covers infertility?

There are some misunderstanding that some companies cover infertility insurance while others don’t.

Who chooses the infertility insurance for you?

It is your boss (in fact, most of our medical/health insurances are drawn by our employer) who chooses these options for you. When you are going through it, you must make sure the coverage clauses are indicated in the coverage, should you ever need for one.

Take note of this if you are looking for an insurance plan yourself.

I have a tip for you, it is wise not to mention to the insurance company that you are looking for infertility insurance as they have the right to deny your application in the first stage.

The reason is due that most insurance companies will not take someone who is liable or is suffering from infertility and provide infertility insurance. They are at a losing end if they do.

Do your own homework.

Get a specialized lawyer should you decide to take on an infertility insurance battle. Be extra careful as there are many laws that can be turned against you should you not be aware of them; at the same time there are many other laws that will work to your benefit as well.

I hope this sharing can give you some insight on how to get yourself covered properly when applying for an insurance coverage.

To your pregnancy success!

June 22nd, 2008    Subscribe To Our Feed

Hi buddy,

Thanks for coming back. I am glad you are here…. :-)

Let’s continue our discussion on infertility health insurance coverage.

If you have already applied to be covered by insurance companies and subsequently denied, you must be feeling frustrated and sad. Well, there are few reasons why they rejected your application to be covered.

They are:

#1 Infertility is not an illness. It may be caused by physical defects or emotional disturbances that cannot be justified.

#2 The treatment is experimental and may not get the results in this never ending process.

#3 It is not an illness.

#4 Infertility treatment has a perception that it does not require medical treatment

Even if proper guidance and steps are laid out, you may not follow yourself through all these complicated legal claims and appeals. Getting a lawyer will save you hassles in order to get a denied claim and appeal promptly.

Getting yourself covered can be acquired with proper knowledge of the insurance law and how it works. Therefore, getting a lawyer is better than doing it yourself, since it is a stressful process.
What you need to know?

The infertility health insurance coverage is yours. You got the right to demand and receive such coverage. Sometimes, such companies can be tricky in the way they manipulate words and laws, therefore getting a lawyer on your side will save you lots of time and stress which you already have a lot on your hands.

I hope this sharing will give you an idea why you can be covered by health insurance with the help of a lawyer.

Stay tuned for more updates…

To your pregnancy success!

Saving Money On Infertility Treatment? Here’s 1 Simple Tip To Cover You

June 18th, 2008    Subscribe To Our Feed

Dear buddy,

When a couple or women are being diagnosed of infertility, there are often 2 thoughts that are running their minds, one is the financial aspect (how much will the treatment going to be), and emotional part (will I ever going to have a baby). Having said that, get the financial aspect solved often unload some stress from the affected couple.

There is this thing called infertility health insurance coverage you should be aware of and not miss out. Unfortunately, there are many health insurance companies do not have infertility health insurance coverage at all.

If any insurance companies denies your claim to infertility treatment, you should engage these steps immediately:

#1 Double check the state you are living on whether it has a mandate for infertility insurance coverage.

#2 Go through the insurance contract carefully as majority people get their insurance through their employers. These employers simply hold the original contract, but only gave only the summary of it.

Under the law, your employer is required by law to provide you with a copy. Therefore, it is important to get your contract as soon as possible.

#3 If the infertility health insurance coverage is not mentioned, the insurance company is liable to pay you for infertility treatment. Therefore, it is rather important to read the contract carefully to make sure if such a clause is included or not.

#4 A clause in the contract that stipulates such exclusion, you must quickly see if it excludes treatment only, or diagnosis. Please note that the insurance company can only deny what they have stipulated in the contract and nothing else besides it. So read very carefully before you buy the insurance policy.

I hope my sharing so far has given you some insight on health insurance covering infertility. On my next blog post, I will be discussing on how to get the cover you need. Stay tuned…
