Normally, menopause occurs at ages 45 – 55. However, there are those who experience this at the age 40 and below. This is due to some underlying conditions of a woman’s ovaries or could be due to some surgical procedures.
But how do you know whether you are already experiencing menopause. The most common way a woman knows this is through the manifestations of symptoms. This includes hot flashes, night sweats, missed menstrual periods, decreased sexual desire, mood changes and even depression.
Aside from the symptoms, there are also menopause tests that women can take to know whether they are indeed experiencing menopause already. This is a must for every woman who is in the ages 40 and above.
